MARTINI® captures the spark that led two men to undertake a lifelong mission to leave their mark on Italian culture. Alessandro Martini - a shrewd entrepreneur with a global vision - and Luigi Rossi - a creative genius whose botanical fragrances would seduce noses throughout Turin's via Dora Grossa.
It was 1863 when their newly formed partnership manifested itself through its first vermouth: MARTINI® Rosso.
This original mixture remains unchanged to this day.
BOTANICAL HARMONY
Rosso has a secret blend of botanical ingredients from native and foreign soils. Mugwort is a crucial ingredient and continues to grow and be harvested just a few kilometers south of our home in Pessione.
A SECRET MIX
Rosso's award-winning recipe has remained unchanged since the day it came into the world. Only three people in the entire world know its secrets.
Master herbalist Ivano Tonutti is one of these heroes. May your lips never reveal Rossi's alchemy.
SECRET MIX
The original MARTINI® recipe remains under lock and key. Our masters recognize it only by its aroma and flavor. Every year, more than 500 samples of botanical ingredients pass through Ivano's nose and only his experience, combined with Beppe's, allows Luigi Rossi's legacy to be maintained.
